Welcome to Marlene Morris Ministries! Whether you are simply looking for a little inspiration, some guidance for a challenge in your life, or a spiritual boost, you are welcome here. And if you have been wandering and looking for something to believe in, welcome home.
This is 21st Century Spirituality. It is relevant to the life you are living today. This is not religion for Sunday morning or Friday night, but spirituality that works, and stays with you, seven days a week, 365 days a year. We call it Relevant Spirituality because it is just that: relevant.
We respect every path that leads to a personal sense of Spirit and spiritual responsibility. And, we believe that traditional religion and what it teaches works to create that for many, but not for all. There is no right or wrong path to spiritual understanding, and spiritual living, but if you have not yet found a path that works for you… consider this:
We Believe and Teach these ideas…
- …that there is one Spiritual Power that preexisted and is the source of all that is, and that Power is the Creative and Motivating Force of the Universe.
- …that this Power, being Creation itself, is greater than that which can be seen and experienced; but that all life and all matter is the direct expression of it and is therefore eternal, unbounded and unlimited.
- …that this Power is known by many names, and reached by many paths. We believe that ours is one path but that all paths which lead to a personal realization of this Power are valid and worthy of respect.
- …that all people, all creatures and all things, are the manifestation of this Power, are beings of divine nature, and are therefore worthy of respect.
- …that Love is at the core of this Power and know that its true nature is good.
- …that heaven and hell are states of mind, not geographical locations, and that every individual has the choice to inhabit one state of mind or the other and is capable of creating the experience of heaven on earth.
- …that each individual expresses this Spiritual Power in his or her life through their thoughts, words and actions, and that faith, conviction and positive choices will always reveal the innate and unlimited life within each individual.
- …and that this Spiritual Power does not choose one life, or way of life, over the other, but that every life is uplifted, inspired, empowered, healed and blessed through the conscious choice to believe in and use it
